ANATOMY OF A CIRCUS TENT

Melinda's PhD in French literature has never been put to better use than when she had to translate the packing list from French to English when it was time to import the tent from Normandy, France to Boston.  In circus, technical details are of supreme importance -- both for safety and to be able to properly assemble the magical structure that is home to the most beautiful & breathtaking entertainment on earth. Melinda is as proud of this translation - it almost reads as a poem! - than she is of her dissertation on "La Vieille dans la litterature du Moyen Age tardif."
